Comedian Ayo Makun has teased his wife Mabel Makun over her purported love for roasted corn aka agbado.

The record-breaking entertainer, in an amusing post, expressed frustration regarding their constant stopover to purchase the commodity.

His post captured his partner buying the item from a roadside vendor with his car parked in front and the passenger door

He revealed it has become a routine for people to witness him and his wife with their car parked by the roadside for the same reason.

In a light-hearted manner, the 52-year-old film maker stated his worries about his celebrity status and urged his fans to help him remind his wife of it.

“Story of my life, everyday people will see me and this woman parking on the street, just for her to buy a damn roasted corn, aka Agbado. Can somebody help me tell her that AY is a ‘celebrity’. Lol”.

The couple recently returned to Nigeria after the unfortunate mishap where their residence was completely gutted by fire in August.

At the time, the famous comedian-cum-actor and family were overseas on “AY Live Legendary Tour 2023” which kicked off from the US, then to Canada in several cities.
